About us

We have been breeding Haflingers since 1992, so more than 30 years. Initially in the outskirts of Zutphen, in the hamlet of Leesten (hence the name!), later in Wervershoof in North Holland.

After the move, now 20 years ago, we started keeping approved haflinger stallions. From the very beginning stallions bred and approved in Tyrol.

Since 2022, our stud has been an EU-approved SWS station, which means that we are allowed to export semen. We are the only Haflinger stallion farm in the Benelux with this approval. In addition to the stallions, breeding is still our passion. Every year we breed between 6 and 10 foals. We have been able to achieve many successes with our breeding products at inspections at home and abroad.
